Location

Southwest of the Messinian Gulf is the picturesque Koroni. It is 52 km from the city of Kalamata and about 280 km from Athens.

Arriving in Koroni it is worth to visit the famous Venetian Castle which dominates at the top of a hill. The castle is an example of Venetian fortress architecture and within it there are still churches and houses.
