Nas beach is located on the north side of Ikaria near the village of Armenistis. It has a coarse grain of sand and small pebbles and the water deepens sharply. At the back of the beach there is dense vegetation and a small river that in combination with the clear blue waters makes the beach one of the most popular on the island. At Nas beach you will find the historical ruins of the temple of the goddess Artemis. You consider it one of the most dangerous beaches because when north winds blow, waves develop with very dangerous currents for swimmers.

Mavra Volia beach is probably the most impressive beach of Chios.
