Elafonisi

Elafonisi is 76 km from Chania at the southwestern tip of Crete. It is an elongated peninsula that due to its peculiarity looks like an island. It is an ecosystem of exceptional ecological importance integrated in the network with the Natura protected areas. Beautiful beaches with white fine sand and turquoise waters surround Elafonisi, reminiscent of an exotic landscape. Ideal place for children due to the shallow waters, with the east side of the island being organized with many visitors, in contrast to the west side which has more beautiful beaches but has fewer detachables.
