The Simos Camping is located just 50 meters from the most famous beach of Elafonisos, Simos beach. There you’ll delight in the stunning colors of the emerald sea and fine sands, sand dunes, unique in Greece and reaching a staggering height of 10 meters.

Services – Facilities

Cafe – Restaurant

In our cafe-restaurant (self-service) you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch, dinner, or your snack. The chef prepares homemade food with an emphasis on Greek specialties. Naturally, the traditional Greek souvlaki is on the menu! In the Cafe area, we serve omelets, fresh sandwiches, various kinds of pastry, crepes (sweet and savory), ice cream, and other delicacies. All food can be packed for you to take away!

Mini Market

In our Mini Market, you will find all the necessities like fruits, vegetables, dairy products, bread, tobacco, detergents, camping, marine equipment, etc.

Βar

On the campsite, you’ll find «Simos» Bar which opens after 22:00 and offers alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and sweets, to the sounds of summer melodies.

Rent a bicycle

Simos Camping can provide you with bicycles and all the necessary equipment (helmet, lights, and locks) to venture into Elafonisos. Our brand new and well-maintained bicycles are available to everyone for a daily fee.

Accommodation

At Simos Camping, our priority is to serve you and meet your needs. Therefore, we offer you areas for tents and campers, and bungalows that satisfy the most demanding visitor. And all of this only a stone’s throw from the magnificent Simos beach.

Camping

All spots have artificial or natural shade; they are separated by trees and plants and have access to electricity and water. Those who do not have their own tent should not worry, they can rent a tent from the camp site or purchase camping equipment from the Mini Market.

At Simos Camping we have ensured that all the areas designated for tents meet the specifications, which satisfy the highest demands at the lowest cost.

Campers

At Simos Camping there are areas that house caravans and campers, with all the facilities required by visitors in order for them to relax and experience a unique holiday!

Our areas are equipped with electricity and water. The operation of the wastewater treatment facility, known as chemical toilets, is notable. Your holidays with your camper will certainly be a memorable experience.

Bungalows

All bungalows are fully equipped with a double bed, a bunkbed, air conditioning, WC, shower, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer and wardrobes. Other features of the bungalows also include bedding, towels and blankets, if needed. The residents can also use the communal kitchen and washing machines.

Bell Tent

All Bell Tents have 4.5m perimeter and maximun height 3 meters and are 16sqm large. Bell Tents are to be found on a special area within the camping, forming their own neighbourhood. They are artificially shadowed and have two double beds, small fridge, fan, coffee table, lighting and electricity. Linen and towels are not included.

Simos beach

Simos beach is located in the southern part of Elafonisos, in the area of Lefki. It is only 4 km from the city of Elafonisos and took its name from the Kalymnos diver Simos, who drowned there. It is covered with sand while the dunes reach up to 10 meters. The waters of the beach are turquoise and crystal clear and the area has been designated protected by the Natura program. In fact, Simos beach consists of the “twin beaches” Frango and Sarakiniko.
