Excursion description:

Meeting on 12 December 2021 at 09:30 in Penteli, in the parking lot of the Monastery of Ag. Panteleimon, at the point where we send you for your GPS: 38.08635, 23.86532. From this point begins the hike with interesting references to the flora, fauna & history of mount Penteli, lasting a total of about 2.5 hours on a wonderful path of about 8 km. A path with awesome alternations, picturesque churches & views from one side to the basin, the Saronic Gulf, Salamina, Aegina, and the Peloponnese, while from the other side to Parnitha, the gulf of Marathon, Evoikos, and Dirfi that breathtaking. A hike at an altitude of about 1000 m.About in the middle of the hike, we will have a picnic and a tour of the imposing as well as an eerie, open-air quarry museum with stunning views.

Return to the starting point at approximately 14:00.

6 euros / person (additional cost of optional insurance 3 euros).

2. Guided tour of the Aloula Museum

All activities are performed exclusively by experienced graduate Physical Education Teachers with fully-equipped equipment, first aid knowledge, and with a fully equipped pharmacy.

Important instructions:

Necessary: MASK & ANTISEPTIC, comfortable pressed sneakers, long comfortable pants, long-sleeved T-shirt, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, liposan, rubber band for (long) hair.

Optional: Second change of clothes, waterproof trekking boots.

Escorts: Children up to the third grade of elementary school must be accompanied. An adult can accompany up to 3 children.

Weather forecast:

The weather forecast will be printed. In case of bad weather, the trip is postponed to another date. In this case, if the new date does not serve you, you are entitled to a refund of the deposit or offset to another action of ours.
