Kalamitsi beach, for many, is considered one of the best beaches of the Sithonia peninsula, although it is not very popular among tourists. The characteristic of the beach is the extended coast with many wild bays of unspoiled beauty that attract those who prefer a secluded holiday away from the hustle and bustle and crowds.
Kalamitsi beach is on the eastern coast of Sithonia, at the foot of the homonymous holiday village. The beach is divided into 3 parts, including the nudist beach, located in the suburbs. The entire coastline is covered by white, fine sand and surrounded by gray cliffs, while in combination with the turquoise waters it offers a unique view.
Kalamitsi beach is wholly protected from the winds and almost never has high waves. However, it deepens sharply and needs attention, especially in families with children.
